The new millennium has come and the sad decay of the redundant church continued. By 2005 the path leading to the church from the war memorial had become so overgrown that it was almost impossible to reach the churchyard. A decade of love, generosity, commitment, skill and hard work has step-by-step restored the church and its surroundings to its former glory as a sacred and place. Inspiring people with its beauty, craftsmanship and living history, and its churchyard memorials to Forncett people of the past. It is once again a place of worship - also a haven of peace where visitors and pilgrims are welcome. Today it serves the local community, hosting a variety of concerts and other events. Furthermore, it is now in better repair - and more homely and attractive - than it has been for centuries.
